March 8 Every Day with Vadim Eilenkrig

On March 11, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted the festive concert March 8 Every Day with Vadim Eilenkrig. Renowned trumpeter and television host, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Vadim Eilenkrig and the musicians of his creative ensemble Eilenkrig Crew presented a special program dedicated to the women they love.

The talented and charismatic musicians filled the evening with beloved music, created a light springtime atmosphere and delighted the audience with their subtle sense of humor.

Vadim Eilenkrig is a renowned Russian musician, trumpeter, television host, producer and educator. He is an Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and the recipient of the Radio Jazz 89.1 “Musician of the Year” award (2018).

He is the author of five solo albums, one of which, Eilenkrig, reached No. 4 on the Russian iTunes Top 200 Jazz Chart and No. 1 on Armenia’s Top 200 Tracks Armenia All Genre Chart.

Since 2016, Eilenkrig has served as Artistic Director of the Wind of Change Festival in Kazan. Since 2019, he has been Artistic Director of Jazz Summer with Eilenkrig, held at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. He is also Artistic Director of the Lemon Festival in Yaroslavl and curator of the jazz programs at the Ural Music Night and New Open Showcase Festival in Yekaterinburg.

He is widely known to television audiences as the host of Big Jazz on Russia-Kultura (2013), co-host and orchestra leader of Dancing with the Stars on Russia-1 (2016), and host of the music program Shabolovka, 37 Club on Russia-Kultura (since 2018).

Eilenkrig is also a regular jury member of the Nutcracker International Television Competition for Young Musicians. He actively tours around the world, performing across the CIS, Europe, North America and Asia.
