Hibla Gerzmava’s solo concert

On October 3, 2026, the world‑famous opera star, People’s Artist of Russia Khibla Gerzmava, will perform on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. The outstanding opera diva will once again impress the audience with her unique timbre, exemplary technique, outstanding acting, and the thoughtfulness behind every character. Accompanied by the Academy of Russian Music Orchestra, the renowned singer will perform arias and romances by Russian and foreign composers. One of the most sought‑after Russian conductors, Ivan Nikiforchin, will take the podium that evening.

Hibla Gerzmava is a true prima donna of the opera stage, a bright and stylish singer who sounds equally convincing in classical arias, jazz improvisations, and old romances. The famous singer is distinguished by her demanding approach to everything, from vocals and dramatic structure to her appearance. Hibla is the recipient of numerous awards; it was she who, in 1994, became the first person in history to win the Grand Prix at the P. I. Tchaikovsky International Vocal Competition. Today, Hibla Gerzmava is not only a charismatic opera singer beloved all over the world; she is an associate professor at the Department of Solo Singing at the Moscow Conservatory, the founder and head of the Music Festival “Hibla Gerzmava Invites…”, and the creator of the International Competition for Vocalists and Concertmasters.
