Ilya Papoyan I Valentin Malinin I Four‑Hand Concert

Brilliant pianists, winners of prestigious international competitions, and true rock stars of the classical scene, Ilya Papoyan and Valentin Malinin, will perform together on September 26 in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

On the legendary stage — two grand pianos and two of the most outstanding pianists of their generation, performing virtuoso works by the classics with four hands, including the Francis Poulenc Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra, sparkling with energy and wit.

Representatives of the St. Petersburg and Moscow schools, both musicians are true pianist‑thinkers, combining expansive expressiveness and vivid emotionality with a refined culture of sound. It is no coincidence that each of them, despite their age, has managed to gain worldwide recognition, actively tours the world, and captivates the audience with mature skill, unique individuality, and genuine artistic magnetism.

The concert will be accompanied by the Academy of Russian Music orchestra, conducted by one of the best and most energetic conductors of our time, Ivan Nikiforchin.
