Film Concert “Music from Turkish TV Series” Featuring Burak Özçivit

On October 9, Burak Özçivit, the renowned Turkish actor and star of such hit series as Magnificent Century, Black Money Love, and Kuruluş: Osman, performed at the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall (BKZ Oktyabrsky).

The actor came to St. Petersburg to take part in the film concert “Music from Turkish TV Series,” combining beloved melodies from iconic television series, performed by a symphony orchestra, with personal stories from one of the most popular Turkish actors of our time.

A similar event was held with great success in February, and following numerous requests from his fans, Özçivit decided to return to Russia.

This time, fans of Turkish cinema were treated to an updated programme. In addition to previously unperformed melodies, the evening featured a new host — Russian television star Ivan Chuikov, well known to Russian audiences from projects on RU.TV, the programmes Hit and Around the World in Secret on Russia TV, Weekend Show on STS, and many other television programmes.

Charming, charismatic, a snowboarder and travel enthusiast, television host and actor Ivan Chuikov took the opportunity to ask Özçivit about his personal and professional life and share a laugh with the actor over some of the more amusing episodes from his career.

In addition to music from series starring Burak Özçivit, the programme featured favourite compositions from such popular shows as Love Is in the Air, The Golden Boy, Judgement, Hercai, and others.

As before, the instantly recognizable music was accompanied by a unique video presentation featuring famous actors, including Burak Özçivit himself.

The audience enjoyed an engaging conversation with the acclaimed actor and listened to their favourite music performed by a symphony orchestra conducted by Evgeny Oleynikov.
