Denis Matsuev (Piano)

On April 21, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted a concert by People's Artist of Russia and one of the finest pianists of our time, Denis Matsuev. The world-renowned musician performed acclaimed masterpieces of classical music, including Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major. The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan also performed Ottorino Respighi’s symphonic poem Pines of Rome and Claude Debussy’s famous La Mer. The concert was conducted by one of the country’s most sought-after young conductors, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Dmitry Kryukov. The concert was held with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
