Aida Garifullina in Concert at the Bolshoi Theatre

On September 5, 2025, world-renowned opera singer Aida Garifullina gave a major solo concert on the Historic Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. A favorite opera diva of Plácido Domingo and Andrea Bocelli and a star of the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, La Scala in Milan, the Paris National Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera and many others, Garifullina made her debut on this legendary stage with a major solo concert.

The grand gala concert also featured renowned artists, including Bolshoi Theatre prima ballerina and People’s Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova, celebrated violinist and People’s Artist of Russia Vadim Repin, as well as acclaimed opera singers and stars of Russia’s leading music theatres: Mikhailovsky Theatre soloist Semyon Antakov (baritone), Mariinsky Theatre soloist Irina Shishkova (mezzo-soprano), and guest soloist of the Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky and Bolshoi Theatres Ivan Gynazov (tenor).

The evening also featured theatrical narration by People’s Artist of Russia Yevgeny Mironov, a celebrated theatre and film actor.
