A WINTER EVENING WITH VADIM EILENKRIG

On December 12, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory will host a major concert by Vadim Eilenkrig. Renowned trumpeter and television host, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Vadim Eilenkrig and the artists of his creative ensemble Eilenkrig Crew will present a jazz cocktail of popular hits and new compositions, promising a festive mood and a joyful atmosphere.

Vadim Eilenkrig is a renowned Russian musician, trumpeter, television host, producer, and educator. He is an Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and the recipient of the “Musician of the Year” award from Radio Jazz 89.1 (2018). He is the author of five solo albums, one of which, Eilenkrig, reached No. 4 on the Russian iTunes Top 200 Jazz Chart and No. 1 on the Armenia Top 200 Tracks All Genre Chart.

Since 2016, Eilenkrig has served as Artistic Director of the “Wind of Change” Festival in Kazan. Since 2019, he has been Artistic Director of “Jazz Summer with Eilenkrig” at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. He is also Artistic Director of the “Lemon” Festival in Yaroslavl and curator of the jazz program at Ural Music Night and the New Open Showcase Festival in Yekaterinburg.

Eilenkrig is widely known as the host of the television show Big Jazz on Russia-Kultura (2013), co-host and orchestra leader of Dancing with the Stars on Russia-1 (2016), and host of the music program Club Shabolovka, 37 on Russia-Kultura (since 2018). He is also a regular jury member of the “Nutcracker” International Television Competition for Young Musicians.

Vadim Eilenkrig actively performs around the world, touring across the CIS, Europe, North America, and Asia.
