The Four Seasons
About the concert
On September 19, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted a concert by one of Russia’s most renowned ensembles — the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Vladimir Spivakov.
The program featured The Four Seasons by two great composers: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Antonio Vivaldi. These celebrated works, long regarded as masterpieces of the classical music repertoire, were performed to exceptional acclaim.
The soloist was Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Lundin (violin). The concert was conducted by Arsentiy Tkachenko, Permanent Guest Conductor of the Moscow Virtuosi, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, and Chief Conductor of the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Academic Large Symphony Orchestra.
The evening also featured narration by Svetlana Simonova.
