About the concert
On August 26, DK Neftche hosted the concert Smeshariki. 20 Years Together!, celebrating the anniversary of the iconic animated series. The audience enjoyed the most energetic and beloved hits from Smeshariki.
Smeshariki. 20 Years Together! is an extraordinary stage improvisation that seamlessly combines captivating animation and live music. Rock, pop, jazz, funk — for Smeshariki, there are no boundaries between styles and genres. This concert has it all!
The musical project Smeshband was founded by Marina Landa and Sergey Vasilyev, the long-standing composers of the Smeshariki animated series. The band brings together 11 musicians from well-known St. Petersburg groups, including DDT, Splean, Surganova and Orchestra, Otava Yo, Kirpichi and others.
Together, they create an electrifying atmosphere at the intersection of rock, jazz, pop and folk, performing music from Smeshariki, Flying Animals and other iconic animated projects.
The band also features Alexandrinsky Theatre actor Sergey Mardar, the voice of Sovunya and Kar-Karych, and Mikhail Chernyak, an actor at the Theatre for Young Spectators on Fontanka, who voices Kopatych, Losyash and Pin.
