Music from Film

On December 5, we invite you to the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, where the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra will perform music from legendary Hollywood films. At the conductor’s podium will be Maestro Alexey Vereshchagin.

Melodies from such films as Titanic, The Godfather, Romeo and Juliet, The Professional, Pirates of the Caribbean, and James Bond are recognized around the world and have already become classics.

Listening to them, we seem to revisit our favorite films, relive the twists and turns of their stories, empathize with their characters, and once again enjoy the performances of the actors.

Powerful emotions and profound feelings, dramatic situations and happy endings — all of this has been brought to life through the power of music. Composers such as Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, and Hans Zimmer rank among the greatest masters of film music.
