Film Concert “Music from Turkish TV Series” featuring Burak Özçivit

On February 9, Burak Özçivit, the renowned Turkish actor and star of such series as Magnificent Century, Black Money Love and Resurrection: Osman, performed for the first time at the Neftche Palace of Culture as part of his nationwide tour. The artist visited Almetyevsk to take part in the film concert “Music from Turkish TV Series,” bringing together beloved melodies from iconic series performed by a symphony orchestra and personal stories from one of the most popular Turkish actors of our time.

This time, fans of Turkish cinema were treated to an updated evening program. In addition to previously unperformed melodies, the concert featured a new host — Russian television star Ivan Chuikov, well known to Russian audiences for his work on RU.TV, the programs Hit and Po Sekretu Vsemu Svetu on Russia TV, Weekend Show on STS, and other television projects. Charming, athletic and fond of travel, television host and actor Ivan Chuikov took the opportunity to ask Özçivit about his personal and professional life and share some particularly amusing stories with the audience. Alongside music from series featuring Burak Özçivit, the program also included favorite compositions from such popular series as Love Is in the Air, Golden Boy, Judgement, Hercai and others. As before, the instantly recognizable music was accompanied by unique video footage featuring famous actors, including Burak Özçivit himself. Audiences had the opportunity to enjoy meeting the celebrated actor and hear their favorite music performed by the Orchestra of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music, conducted by Evgeny Oleynikov.
