Dmitry Malikov. Spring Festive Concert

Dmitry Malikov. Spring Festive Concert

About the concert

On April 13, the famous singer, composer, and pianist Dmitry Malikov performed a major solo concert at the Neftche Palace of Culture. A People's Artist of Russia whose songs have been known and loved by several generations of listeners, Malikov performed not only his famous hits but also instrumental compositions from his original project Pianomania. The audience was treated to a spectacular show in which one of the country’s most romantic artists revealed all facets of his brilliant talent and irresistible charm.

One of the most celebrated singers in Russian popular music, Dmitry Malikov first appeared on the Russian music scene more than 35 years ago and has remained at the top ever since. He began studying music at the age of five, setting the course for his professional career from an early age. By sixteen, he had already been invited to popular television programs such as Shire Krug and Utrennyaya Pochta, and just a few years later, hits including “My Distant Star,” “No, You’re Not for Me,” “You’re the One, You’re So Beautiful,” and others were being heard throughout the country. Malikov performed to audiences of thousands in major concert halls and stadium venues, including the legendary Olimpiysky Sports Complex. At the same time, his brilliant career did not prevent him from graduating with honors from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a degree in piano.

Today, Dmitry Malikov is not only a composer and singer whose music has shaped generations. He is also a blogger with hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, an actor in theater and film, a successful producer, and a sought-after television presenter. Whatever Malikov takes on quickly wins the affection of the public — from heartfelt songs and educational projects to theatrical productions and instrumental programs. He remains popular with younger audiences and is just as charismatic and sincere as ever. He is loved and respected by people of all ages, backgrounds, and musical tastes, and on March 24, audiences had the opportunity to experience this for themselves.
