Bel Suono Concert

On March 5, the renowned piano trio Bel Suono performed at the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory with a festive program dedicated to International Women’s Day. The unique ensemble, which performs in the genre of classical crossover, presented new compositions and beloved works in original arrangements.

The audience enjoyed acclaimed masterpieces of classical music, from Vivaldi to Rachmaninoff, as well as famous waltzes by Soviet composers, jazz compositions by Duke Ellington, sensual Latin American melodies, music from iconic films, and original works by the pianists. As always, Bel Suono’s carefully curated program was diverse and engaging, while numerous musical surprises delighted even the most discerning listeners.

Bel Suono (Italian for “beautiful sound”) is the only piano trio in the world performing in the progressive genre of classical crossover. The ensemble’s repertoire includes outstanding works of classical and contemporary music in unique arrangements, as well as new compositions written by the group’s soloists. Kirill Gushchin, Anton Mosenkov, and Nikita Khabin are accomplished virtuoso musicians who graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and its postgraduate program.

The creator, producer, and artistic visionary behind Bel Suono is Leila Fattakhova, a pianist and graduate of the Tashkent Conservatory. During her 25-year career in the entertainment industry, she held senior positions at some of the most prominent record companies before founding and heading her own PR agency.
