A Suite for Maya. Premiere Held at the Kremlin Palace in Honor of Maya Plisetskaya

The State Kremlin Palace hosted the premiere of the musical ballet production Maya. A Suite of Love, created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Maya Plisetskaya, the megastar of world ballet.

Theatrical director Igor Teplov and choreographer Victoria Litvinova brought together renowned artists on one stage for a ballet gala performance dedicated to the legendary ballerina.

The performance featured leading ballet stars, including Bolshoi Theatre prima ballerina and People’s Artist of Russia Ekaterina Krysanova, Bolshoi Theatre prima ballerina Kristina Kretova, as well as artists of the K. S. Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre, including prima ballerina and Honored Artist of Russia Oksana Kardash and others.

The role of Rodion Shchedrin will be performed by Bolshoi Theatre principal dancer and Honored Artist of Russia Vladislav Lantratov.
