Aida Garifullina and Ildar Abdrazakov Performed at Crocus City Hall on May 23

The concert was a major event, bringing together two truly exceptional artists on one stage — a two-time Grammy Award winner and recipient of numerous other international awards, and a leading soloist of the Vienna State Opera, whom Plácido Domingo himself described by saying: “You should be proud of Aida Garifullina because she is a true star of the opera stage…”

They were accompanied by the Russian Philharmonia Moscow Symphony Orchestra conducted by Italian maestro Fabio Mastrangelo. The programme consisted of two completely different parts — classical and crossover.
